St. Xavier’s mission Simravari.
Due to the regular troubles from BHEL authorities regarding the
renewal of leased, in 2009, a plot of land was bought by Fr. Sahayanathan
with the intention of shifting St. Xavier’s School from BHEL colony to Simrawari. The school in its initial stage was managed and monitored by St. Xavier’s, BHEL. Fr. Lazar was the first principal. In June 13, 2013, Fr. Johnson Francis was appointed as the first resident mission in-charge and the principal. Missionary Sisters of Mother Mary (MSMM) from Nalgonda (AP) were invited to the Simrawari Mission, and St. Xavier’s Convent was inaugurated on July 21, 2013.The sisters are involved in education and pastoral ministry as they teach in the school and visit the surrounding villages. When the MSMM sisters left the mission, Passionist sisters were requested to assist at the school & mission.
Fr. Varghese took over from Fr. Johnson Francis in 2014. Fr. Varghese looked after the construction of the class rooms and labs and obtained CBSE affiliation and Fr. Wilson who succeeded Fr Varghese built the rectory. Fr Franky Mathias will take-over the mission in May 2025.
