Shanti Dham Mission

The idea of beginning a school in Atarra was conceived by Late Bishop Frederick D`Souza in the year 2000 and Fr. Ronald D’Souza acquired a plot of
land for the same purpose. Fr. Soosai KLM pioneered the mission while staying in a rented house in Atarra town, he built a presbytery in the campus which was
completed by June 2002. The apostolate was entrusted to Our Lady’s care, the  Queen of Peace, hence the name Shanti Dham. The Venerini Sisters joined the school on July 4, 2005. The new wing of the school building was constructed under the supervision of Fr. Fredrick A. which was inaugurated on 1st April 2017. Presently the school has reached up to XII Std of the CBSE Board, with Fr. Arulraj as principal, 76 teaching staff, 20 supporting staff and 1900 students. Fr Stephen Vas will be taking over the school in May 2025.
