Novena to St. Jude
In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, who when on earth did with a strong cry and tears offer up prayers and supplications o the Father, receive the offering of this Novena, during which we desire to join our prayers to yours for this intention
(Here mention the favour you desire).
We make this offering through Mary, your Mother, and our Mother, and through St Jude Thaddeus, your beloved cousin for he is the helper in difficult cases. For their sake, accept our prayer and render it fruitful. Amen.
- O glorious apostle, St Jude Thaddeus, patron of the desperate cases who chosen by God to give testimony of the true faith, suffered all kinds of tortures and, in the end, gave your life rather than deny it; obtain for us the faith strong as yours, and like you, make us ever ready to confess it with joy, so that we will die rather than deny it.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. They will be done on earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you, blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, ow and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be world without end. Amen.
- O faithful apostle, St Jude Thaddeus, beloved cousin of our Saviour, by the admirable courage with which you sacrificed your life sooner than fail in your fidelity to the true faith and the true God; obtain for us the grace to be always faithful to God and to the Church, in all our duties, so as to merit a share of glory in heaven.

- O fervent apostle, St Jude Thaddeus, whose only desire was to please God in all things, obtain for us the same desire that inflamed with the same fervour, we may spend all our life in working out our salvation, so that purified by the fire of tribulation, we may be entitled to an eternal crown of glory in the kingdom of God. Amen

O God, who through your blessed apostle St Jude, has brought us unto the knowledge of your name, grant that we may celebrate his eternal glory by making progress in virtue; and by perpetuating his glory we may advance in sanctity through Christ our Lord. Amen.
PRAYER TO ST JUDE

St Jude, glorious Apostle, faithful servant and friend of Jesus the amen of the traitor has caused you to be forgotten by many; but the Church honors and invokes you as the Patron of things despaired of; pray for me, that finally I may receive the consolations and help of Heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings particularly (here make your request), and that I may bless God with the elect through out eternity. Amen
St Jude Apostle, martyr and relative of our Lord Jesus Christ, of Mary and Joseph, intercede for me!
सन्त जूड के आदर में नौरोजी प्रार्थना
पिता और पुत्र और पवित्र आत्मा के नाम पर। आमेन
हे प्रभु येसु! जब तू इस दुनियाँ में था, तूने आह भरते और आँसू बहाते हुए अपने पिता से विनय पूर्वक प्रार्थना की थी। आज तू इस नौरोजी विनती को स्वीकार कर जिसमें इस तीर्थ स्थान के उपकारियों तथा उन सब भक्तों की अभिलाषाओं के लिये जिन्होंने अपनी अर्जियाँ यहाँ भेजी हैं, प्रार्थना करता हूँ। मैं अपने स्वयं के आध्यात्मिक और भौतिक उद्देश्यों के लिए भी प्रार्थना करता हूँ। (अपनी इच्छा व्यक्त करें)।
मैं अपने इस निवेदन को तेरे निवेदन से मिलाना चाहता हूं। मै माता मरियम के द्वारा जो तेरी और मेरी भी माता है, अपनी इस विनती को तेरे सामने रखता हूँ, क्योंकि वह ख्रीस्तियों की सहायता है। मैं सन्त जूड थद्देयुस के द्वारा भी जो तेरा कुटुम्बी है, और कठिन परिस्थितियों में सहायता करता है, अपनी प्रार्थना प्रस्तुत करता हूँ। उनकी खातिर मेरी प्रार्थना स्वीकार कर तथा उन सब आत्माओं के लिये जिनके वास्ते तूने अपने प्राण दिये हैं, इसे सफल बना। आमेन।
- हे प्रतापी प्रेरित सन्त जूद थद्देयुस, महान कठिनाइयों में पड़े हुये लोगों के सहायक, तू ईश्वर द्वारा सच्चे धर्म का प्रमाण देने के लिये चुना गया। तूने मसीही विश्वास के लिए सब प्रकार के अत्याचार सहे, और अन्त में अपने प्राण दे दिये किन्तु अपने विश्वास को नही त्यागा। तू हमें भी ऐसा दृढ़ विश्वास दिला दे कि हर समय और हर परिस्थिति में हम इसे आनन्द के साथ स्वीकार सकें तथा त्यागने की अपेक्षा मरने के लिए तैयार रहें। प्रिय सन्त!प्रायश्चित द्वारा हमारे विद्रोही शरीर का दमन करने के लिए तू हमें प्रोत्साहित कर ताकि संसार तथा अपने आप के लिए मर कर हम केवल ईश्वर में ही रह सकें और सदा पुण्य-फल प्राप्त कर सकें।

- हे प्रतापी सन्त जूद थद्देयुस! हमारे उद्धारकर्ता के कुटुम्बी अपना धर्म, विश्वास तथा ईश्वर के प्रति विश्वासघात करने की अपेक्षा तूने प्रशंसनीय साहस से तुरन्त ही अपना जीवन बलिदान कर दिया। तू हमें यह वरदान दिला दे कि हम ईश्वर के नियम तथा अपने अन्त:करण की पुकार को न मानने की अपेक्षा किसी भी प्रकार के दु:ख सहने के लिए सदा तैयार रहें। हमें इस तरह जीवन बिताने में सहायता दें, कि हम सन्तों के साथ ईश्वर के राज्य की महिमा प्राप्त कर सकें।

- हे प्रतापी सन्त जूद थद्देयुस, तेरी एक मात्र इच्छा थी, कि तू अपने सब कार्यों से ईश्वर को प्रसन्न करें। हमें भी यह कृपा दिला दे कि हम ईश्वर की आज्ञा का पालन करने में, अपनी मुक्ति के लिये प्रयत्न करने में और अपने धर्म के लिये हर प्रकार के कष्ट धैर्य से सहने में तेरे जैसा उत्साह रखें। हम इसी विश्वास में अपना सारा जीवन व्यतीत करें और दु:ख रूपी अग्नि से पवित्र होकर, ईश्वर के राज्य में सदा के लिए कीर्ति के मुकुट के योग्य बन जायें। आमेन।

हम प्रार्थना करें हे ईश्वर तूने अपने प्रिय प्रेरित सन्त जूद के द्वारा हमें अपने नाम का ज्ञान दिलाया है, हमें यह वरदान दे कि हम दिन-दिन सदाचार में उन्नति करते हुए तेरे इस प्रेरित का कीर्ति गान करें और पवित्रता में बढ़ते रहें, हमारे प्रभु ख्रीस्त के द्वारा। आमेन।
सन्त जूड से प्रार्थना

हे सन्त जूड महिमापूर्ण प्रेरित, प्रभु येसु के विश्वासी सेवक व मित्र, विश्वासघाती नाम के कारण कईयों ने तुझे भुला दिया। लेकिन कलीसिया तुझे हतोत्साहित मामलों के संरक्षक के नाम से सम्मान करता हैं, मुझ निस्सहाय के लिये प्रार्थना कर कि मैं सभी ज़रूरतों, उलझनों व कष्टों में सान्तवना प्राप्त कर सकूँ, विशेषकर (यहाँ अपनी इच्छा का जिक्र करें) ताकि मैं सदैव सन्तों की संगति में ईश्वर का गुणगान कर सकूँ। हे सन्त जूड, प्रेरित, शहीद व प्रभु येसु ख्रीस्त, माँ मरियम व सन्त जोसफ के निकटतम परिवारजन, हमारे लिये प्रार्थना कर । आमेन।
